Tea Leaf Readings

Tea Leaf Reading is a traditional form of divination that works with the symbols, patterns and impressions formed by tea leaves in a cup.

For Alicia, this practice is deeply connected to her family and ancestral heritage. The leaves settle differently each time, forming patterns that cannot be repeated or replicated, as if the tea itself is responding in the moment.

A Tea Leaf Reading is treated as a peaceful conversation. It is a chance to slow down, reflect on a question or intention and explore the symbols that appear in the cup with care and curiosity.

Tea Leaf Reading can support a client by offering gentle guidance around questions, scenarios or decisions they may be reflecting on.

The session creates space for the client to feel heard, grounded and connected to their own intuition. Alicia helps interpret the symbols in the cup while also inviting the client to notice what they see, making the reading feel collaborative and personal.

Who is Tea Leaf Reading for?

Tea Leaf Reading may appeal to people who are drawn to intuitive, symbolic or spiritual forms of reflection.

You may find it supportive if you are navigating questions, decisions or a period of personal change. It may also appeal if you are looking for a calm and gentle experience that allows you to reflect on your current path in a different way.

This in-person therapy takes place at The Dublin Wellbeing Centre in Dublin 2.

What happens during the appointment?

Before the client arrives, Alicia prepares the room, the cups, the tea leaves and the water.

When the client arrives, the session begins with breathwork to ground both the client and Alicia into the energy of the reading. The water is then poured into the two cups used for the session.

The client does not drink the tea. Instead, they hold the cup and state their intention, question or questions for the reading.

Alicia then turns the cups over and begins the reading by describing the symbols she sees, where they appear in the cup and the meaning behind each one. The client is then invited to gaze into their own cup and share any symbols they notice. Alicia then helps decipher these symbols.

The reading is treated as a gentle conversation intended to relax the client. The session ends with an oracle message using Alicia’s oracle cards, followed by breathwork to help both Alicia and the client leave the session feeling grounded.

What to Expect

Clients can expect a peaceful, relaxing and reflective experience.

The reading is designed to support a feeling of calm and acceptance. Alicia’s intention is to help the client feel more at ease with their path, with the understanding that life unfolds through meaning, timing and experience.

The session is not rushed. It is treated as a conversation that allows space for questions, symbols, reflection and grounding.

“I got a tea reading from Alicia recently and I was overwhelmed by the accuracy of what of the leaves said. Alicia's reading and interpretation was so empathetic and encouraging, she explained everything spiritual in such a grounded way. I loved that she ensured I was grounded going in and out of the reading, and the wrap around card readings at the start and end complemented the message from the leave beautifully.”

Frequently Asked Questions about Tea Leaf Readings in Dublin

What is Tea Leaf Reading?

Tea Leaf Reading is a traditional form of divination that works with the symbols, patterns and impressions formed by tea leaves in a cup.

At The Dublin Wellbeing Centre in Dublin 2, Tea Leaf Reading with Alicia Grozavu offers a calm and reflective space to explore questions, intentions and intuitive guidance through the imagery that appears in the tea leaves.

Who offers Tea Leaf Reading at The Dublin Wellbeing Centre?

Tea Leaf Reading is offered by Alicia Grozavu at The Dublin Wellbeing Centre in Dublin 2.

Alicia comes from a family with a strong spiritual heritage, where healing and divination have been passed down through generations. Her practice is inspired by her grandmother’s gift for tea leaf reading and her own connection with Spirit, symbolism and intuition.

What happens during a Tea Leaf Reading?

Before the session begins, the room, cups and tea leaves are prepared. When the client arrives, Alicia begins with gentle breathwork to help both the client and reader feel grounded.

The client then holds the cup and states their intention, question or questions for the reading. The tea is not drunk during the session. Alicia turns the cups over and begins reading the symbols, patterns and sections of the cup. The client is also invited to look into their own cup and share any symbols they notice.

The session ends with an oracle card message and grounding breathwork.

Do I drink the tea during the session?

No. During Alicia’s Tea Leaf Reading, the client does not drink the tea.

Instead, the cup is held while the client states their intention or question. The cup is then used for the reading, allowing the tea leaves to form patterns and symbols that Alicia interprets during the session.

What can Tea Leaf Reading help with?

Tea Leaf Reading may support gentle reflection around questions, choices, timing, personal direction or situations currently unfolding in the client’s life.

It is not about guaranteeing an outcome or predicting a fixed future. Instead, it offers a peaceful space to reflect on what is present, explore symbolic meaning and consider your path with greater calm and openness.

Is Tea Leaf Reading suitable if I have never had a reading before?

Yes. Tea Leaf Reading can be suitable for beginners and for people who are curious about symbolic or intuitive forms of guidance.

Alicia’s approach is gentle, grounded and conversational. There is space to ask questions, clarify meanings and move through the reading at a comfortable pace.

Do I need to prepare a question before my Tea Leaf Reading?

You can come with a specific question, a few questions or a general intention.

Some clients may want guidance around a particular situation, while others may simply feel drawn to receive whatever comes through the reading. Alicia will guide the session in a calm and supportive way.

Is Tea Leaf Reading available online?

No. Tea Leaf Reading with Alicia Grozavu is available in person only at The Dublin Wellbeing Centre in Dublin 2.

The in-person setting allows the client to hold their own cup, notice the symbols they see and experience the reading in a more immersive and focused way.

How long is a Tea Leaf Reading?

Tea Leaf Readings with Alicia Grozavu are available as:

30 minutes
45 minutes

The session length can be chosen depending on how much time you would like for reflection, questions and discussion.

What are the benefits of an in-person Tea Leaf Reading?

An in-person Tea Leaf Reading offers a more immersive and focused experience.

It allows for immediate clarification of symbols and meanings, a stronger connection with the reader and the opportunity for the client to hold their own cup and share the symbols they personally notice.

Is Tea Leaf Reading the same as Tarot?

No. Tea Leaf Reading and Tarot are different forms of divination.

Tarot works with cards, imagery and card spreads. Tea Leaf Reading works with the symbols and patterns formed by tea leaves in a cup. Both can offer reflection and intuitive guidance, but the experience and tools used are different.

Will Tea Leaf Reading tell me exactly what will happen?

Tea Leaf Reading should not be approached as a guaranteed prediction of the future.

Alicia’s approach is gentle and reflective. The reading may offer symbols, themes and guidance connected to your current questions or path, but it is intended to support reflection rather than create fear or certainty around fixed outcomes.

Can I ask questions during the reading?

Yes. The reading is treated as a conversation.

You are welcome to ask questions, seek clarification and share what you notice in the cup. Alicia creates space for reflection, discussion and gentle interpretation throughout the session.
