These Terms and Conditions apply to all appointments, treatments, classes, workshops, online sessions, consultations and other services booked with or through The Dublin Wellbeing Centre. By making a booking, attending an appointment, participating in a session, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About The Dublin Wellbeing Centre
The Dublin Wellbeing Centre provides a space for wellbeing, therapeutic, holistic and complementary health services. Services may be provided by therapists, practitioners, teachers, facilitators or other professionals operating from or through the Centre.
References in these Terms and Conditions to “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Dublin Wellbeing Centre. References to “you” and “client” refer to the person making a booking, attending an appointment, or participating in a service.
2. Bookings
Appointments, treatments, classes, workshops and online sessions are subject to availability.
A booking is only confirmed once it has been accepted by The Dublin Wellbeing Centre or the relevant therapist or practitioner, and any required payment or deposit has been received.
You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided at the time of booking is accurate, including your name, contact details, relevant health information, and any access or support requirements.
3. Payments
Payment terms may vary depending on the service, therapist or practitioner. Payment may be required in advance, at the time of booking, or on the day of the appointment.
Where payment is required in advance, your booking may not be confirmed until payment has been received.
Prices may be updated from time to time. The price payable will be the price confirmed at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed.
4. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, treatment, class or online session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled booking time.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the booking time may be rescheduled or refunded, subject to the specific terms of the service or practitioner.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking time may be charged in full or may result in the loss of any deposit or payment already made.
If you do not attend your appointment or session and do not provide notice, this will be treated as a missed appointment and the full fee may be charged.
Where The Dublin Wellbeing Centre or the relevant therapist or practitioner needs to cancel or reschedule a booking, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and offer an alternative appointment or refund where appropriate.
5. Late Arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment or session. If you arrive late, your session may still need to finish at the scheduled time to avoid delaying other clients.
The full fee may still apply where your appointment is shortened due to late arrival.
6. Health, Medical Information and Suitability
You are responsible for informing your therapist, practitioner, teacher or facilitator of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, medication, mental health conditions, recent surgeries, or other relevant health information before your session begins.
Our services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or advice from a qualified medical professional. You should consult your GP, consultant or other appropriate healthcare provider if you have any concerns about your health or whether a treatment or activity is suitable for you.
The Dublin Wellbeing Centre and its therapists and practitioners reserve the right to refuse, adapt, or stop a treatment or session where they believe it may not be appropriate or safe for you.
7. Disclaimer and Assumption of Risk
Treatments, classes, workshops, consultations and wellbeing services are undertaken at your own risk.
By attending a treatment, class, workshop, consultation or online session, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own physical, emotional and mental wellbeing before, during and after the session.
Therapists, practitioners, teachers and facilitators at The Dublin Wellbeing Centre will use reasonable care and professional judgement when providing services. However, individual results vary and no specific outcome, improvement or result is guaranteed.
You agree to listen to your body, communicate any discomfort, and stop participating if you feel unwell, unsafe or unable to continue.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
8. Online Sessions
For online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring that you have adequate resources, equipment and space to participate safely and effectively.
This may include, where relevant:
- A stable internet connection
- A suitable device with audio and/or video capability
- Any equipment recommended for the session
- A private, quiet and safe space
- Enough room to move safely, where movement is involved
- Appropriate clothing and footwear (if required)
- Water or any other personal items you may need
The Dublin Wellbeing Centre and its therapists or practitioners are not responsible for technical issues, connection problems, unsuitable equipment, unsafe surroundings, or interruptions arising from your own environment or device.
If you are unable to participate due to technical issues on your side, the session may still be treated as attended or cancelled late, depending on the circumstances.
9. Personal Belongings
You are responsible for your own personal belongings while attending The Dublin Wellbeing Centre.
We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal items, except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
10. Conduct
All clients, therapists, practitioners, staff and visitors are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately while at The Dublin Wellbeing Centre or while participating in online services.
We reserve the right to refuse or end a session where behaviour is abusive, inappropriate, unsafe, discriminatory, threatening or disruptive. In such cases, fees may not be refunded.
11. Therapist and Practitioner Services
Some therapists, practitioners, teachers or facilitators may operate independently from The Dublin Wellbeing Centre. Where this applies, they are responsible for the professional services they provide, including their own treatment approach, advice, qualifications, insurance and professional conduct.
The Dublin Wellbeing Centre provides the premises, booking support or facilities where applicable, but individual practitioners remain responsible for the delivery of their own services.
12. Confidentiality and Personal Information
We respect your privacy and aim to handle your personal information responsibly.
Information you provide may be used to manage bookings, communicate with you, provide services, process payments, and meet legal or professional obligations.
Therapists and practitioners may keep their own client records in accordance with their professional, legal and insurance requirements.
13. Changes to Services
We may update, change, pause or withdraw services, prices, availability, therapists, practitioners, class schedules or booking arrangements from time to time.
Where a confirmed booking is affected by a change, we will aim to give you as much notice as reasonably possible.
